Having re-opened in 2009 after a major £17m refurbishment, the Ulster Museum is an outstanding attraction in Belfast. 5. Belleek Pottery
With over 200 000 visitors every year Belleek Pottery is home to the oldest and most prestigious Parian china ever made in the world. The company was established in 1857 and holds a very special place in the cultural and commercial heritage in county Fermanagh.

6. The Crown Liquor Saloon, Belfast
This is one of the finest examples of a High Victorian public house in existence, with rich ornamentation, gas lighting and snugs still intact.

7. The Walled City of Londonderry
The 17th century walled City of Londonderry is the only remaining completely walled city in Ireland and one of the finest examples of a walled city in Europe. The city also won the title of first UK city of culture for 2013.

8. Ulster Folk and Transport Museum
This museum holds Ireland’s largest collection of trains, vintage buses and cars. Part of the museum is outdoors showing country life in Northern Ireland a century ago with restored farm and village buildings.

9. The Odyssey Complex
This is Belfast’s premium entertainment centre and Northern Ireland’s largest indoor arena. This is also the home to the Belfast Giants who play in the Sekonda Ice Hockey Superleague. Within the complex there are a number of bars, restaurants, nightclubs, cinemas, a bowling alley and Northern Ireland’s only interactive discovery centre, W5.
