Holiday Inn Belfast £1.6m Refurbishment

A major £1.6 million overhaul has radically upgraded the popular Holiday Inn Belfast modernising more than 170 bedrooms including 22 executive rooms and two suites making the property a very good value for money business hotel. The project also included a complete refurbishment of the hotel’s lobby, restaurant and bar.

The hotel's 'Academy Conference Centre' features 10 meeting rooms that can accommodate up to 120 delegates alongside the Olympic Suite which holds up to 600 delegates comfortably in theatre style. 

Announcing the £1.6M re-fresh, Iain McGuigan, General Manager said:

Sited in a prime city centre location in Belfast, opposite the BBC Northern Ireland Headquarters and close to Belfast City Hall, the outside of the hotel has also been enhanced with new signage, lighting and landscaping. Opened in 2001, Holiday Inn Belfast is still the only Belfast city centre hotel to feature a 15 metre swimming pool and spa as part of its Health Club.

The Holiday Inn Belfast held an official launch reception on the 16th March 2011  which was well attended by both the business community and tourism and hospitality professionals alike.
